Porcelain Veneers are for that ‘flawless’ look but because they are handmade, there is a price tag to match. These veneers will need to be replaced over time whereas composite veneers are non invasive / can be non invasive.
Special dental bonding agents are used to attach the veneers to the teeth, and although porcelain is inherently brittle, when firmly bonded to the sturdy structure of the tooth it becomes strong, durable and as resistant to staining as bone china.
Also worth knowing is that damaged porcelain veneers are more expensive and time-consuming to repair than Immediate Veneers.
