Our dental clinic is between Romford and Brentwood in Essex. We provide a wide range of dental services for patients and families who find us friendly, caring and knowledgeable about all areas of modern dentistry.
Everything we do is underpinned by a healthy mouth regime led by our skilled hygienists. They provide the protection and the basis for our advanced treatments to restore and improve people’s smiles.

Fear of Pain
Usually, the biggest elephant in the room is fear of pain. There, we’ve said it.
It still amazes us how many patients have had bad dental experiences in the past and have as a result, avoided visiting the dentist for years (and years and years).
So our first promise to you is that we will provide as ‘pain less’ an experience as we can, using the dental wand. You are always in control, and we take our time. We will only begin your treatment when you are fully comfortable.

We use The Dental Wand, computer computer-controlled anaesthetic delivery system from the US. It’s not new, we’ve been using it for 10 years!

Don’t be Embarrassed
People are often put off by embarrassment, and we know that some our new patients are thinking:
- ‘He’s going to look in my mouth and be dismayed by how much I have neglected it’
- ‘He’s going to find out that I haven’t been to a dentist for X years and he won’t be impressed’
- ‘My mouth is horrible, I hate it, but I wouldn’t show it to my partner let alone a complete stranger who probably has the cleanest mouth on the planet!’
So. Just for the record, Winning Smiles exists to sort out YOUR dental problems. When we see a mouth with decay or gum disease, or worn teeth, or plaque and stains, or missing a number of teeth, we simply want to sort those problems out for you, it is our unique and privileged place to be in a position to bring about transformation in your mouth.
(And we happen to know that sometimes that transformation goes beyond the mouth).
We don’t see neglect, we see work to be done and we’re keen to get on with it. And just because Teeth are our priority, we don’t expect them to be everyone else’s, lots of other things come first (birth, death, marriage, tax etc).

Lack of Time?
To put it bluntly, many people don’t have the luxury of time off during normal working hours because, well, they’re too busy working – especially if that time off involves spending money!
That’s why at Winning Smiles we have days where work from 8am until 7pm. And Saturdays!
Just bear in mind that our most popular times are our late evenings and weekends, so book ahead to avoid disappointment.

The Free Consultation
Without seeing things for ourselves, we can’t tell people what their options are.
And so with that in mind, we are happy to offer free consultations, as this is a big decision for most people. We are careful to take budget, comfort and appearance into account when explaining all the available choices and there is never any pressure to proceed, and certainly not on the day.
We set out to be a friendly practice and try to provide everybody with what’s right for them, at an affordable cost. We hope our dentist reviews give that impression.

DON’T BE SCARED OF SEDATION……..IT’S BRILLIANT….TRUST ME!!!
I came in for 4 hours sedation with your FANTASTIC sedationist Doctor Damian. It was recommended as I needed 10 upper crowns and surgery to even up my gum lines. This involved a very lengthy treatment, which thankfully I was not aware of. Amazingly I was told to eat and drink before treatment. The drug process to put me to sleep was not in the least bit traumatic. It only involved a tiny needle, with just one drop at a time of the drug. When I came round, I did not feel unwell in the least (just not quite with it). It was a totally stress free experience, and I recommend it to anyone undergoing lengthy/complex work.
Andrew is also doing a brilliant job, sorting out my general and cosmetic dentistry…..BEFORE AND AFTER his clever Dad Michael straightened them for me with Invisalign.
The girls are all great too, and I am SO lucky to have found the perfect team at Winning Smiles!
