Missing front tooth

This young chap came to us in his late 20s. He had a sports injury playing rugby in his teens which had knocked out the tooth. He had been wearing an old denture ever since. He was starting a new job and wanted to have the confidence of a fixed tooth in place as the denture needed daily gluing and would come unstuck when he was eating (quite embarrassing when eating out with clients!). He also said that he had lost the tooth on more than one occasion.

   

Dentures are difficult to get along with. We placed a single dental implant and spent some time colour matching the new ceramic/porcelain implant crown to his other front tooth. Our Master ceramist did a beautiful job and the tooth is a perfect match. He got the new job!
