My first consultation at the surgery, was with Andrew Fennell. We discussed my concerns and worries; he explained all options and suggested, what he considered was best for me. My treatment was completed in June. I had six porcelain crowns fitted, which truly gave me a “Winning Smile”. Andrew and his team were brilliant. I cannot thank him enough.. Jamie fixed a bad composite bonding job on my front tooth and he did a FANTASTIC job. Really pleased I came here. Both him and the nurse were friendly and helpful and took an interest in the work being done. FAB 🙂

After my son Jamie had his top composite veneers done I booked to have my top ones done . As a very nervous patient who would normally be sedated I sat for numerous hours while Jamie and Racheal fitted my new composite veneers .

I had several upper crowns and a bridge fitted 15-20 years. ago. I thought my teeth could look better.

From my first visit, this was the practice for me and I didn’t even consider looking elsewhere. Everyone was so friendly and efficient.

I first saw Alex and subsequently Andrew. Due to medication, implants are not a recommended option for me.

Andrew has replaced my crowns, added a couple more and replaced the bridge. He suggested the new be a tiny fraction longer than the old ones, saying to see more teeth when I spoke and smiled would be a nicer look – of course, he is right!

Throughout the whole process, Andrew was patient, informative and explained everything.

He happily answered all my questions even the ones I knew were quite trivial. I was expecting some pain but there was absolutely none even at my 5 hour+ appointment! Anyway, I already trusted Andrew to know he would not have let me suffer any pain.

I am so happy with what Andrew has achieved. I feel he does everything possible to give the best smile possible by telling his patients what he can do but equally important what he can’t do.
Alex did some cosmetic fillings and arranged some bleaching which has made a big difference to my (own) bottom teeth. This and everything Andrew has done leaves me, without reservation, recommending Winning Smiles. Thank you!

Having put up with my dodgy teeth for a long time I decided to have a chat winning smiles .

I met Jamie who advised me on the best treatment for me . Very professional , had all the answers and did a fantastic job. 2 new crowns and filled a gap where I had a tooth removed years ago. I went to Winning Smiles for instant veneers as I have always been self-conscious about my smile and have spent my adult life hiding from the camera.

Went and saw Andrew and his practice for advice about the mess my teeth were in, only 3 left in the top, was given the utmost attention and consideration I walk out of there about 4 months later with the biggest smile in my face and a full set of teeth that has transformed my life ,always smiling which I never used to, and everyone I know comments how good they look .

One of my friends who used to be a dentist was honest enough to tell me how awful the old cap on my front tooth looked so I went to see the Winning Smiles team and came out with a brand new smile.

I could write a page on how bad my teeth were before I first visited Winning Smiles. I’d got to the stage where my fear of dentists was outweighed by the embarrassment I felt by their condition. A consultation with Andrew put me at ease and gave me hope that something could be done. He doesn’t see the neglect, he sees the end result. Doesn’t berate you like a naughty child (had that a few times in the past!) but treats you as an adult needing his help and expertise.

Now a year on and 2 implants, a crown to fix a twisted canine, new fillings and whitening, I have a set of ‘gnashers’ I can flash with confidence, something I’ve not had since….well ever, really.

To say I was terrified of dentists was an understatement! I had 6 very old chipped, stained veneers which I was totally ashamed of.

At my consultation, Andrew and Julie assured me it really would be painless (I didn’t entirely believe this at the time)…I returned to have all my old veneers replaced with immediate veneers. I was given a sedative to help me relax (wonderful stuff!) and didn’t even realise when I had the anaesthetic by way of the dental wand.

I can truthfully say the entire process from removing the old veneers to replacing with new ones was absolutely pain free. It wasn’t even remotely uncomfortable. I was quite happy chilling under a blanket listening to my iPod and before I knew it, I had lovely teeth again.

I feel 40+ years of having a phobia has been cured instantly so I cannot thank Andrew and his lovely ladies enough.

I would firstly like to say this is the first review I have ever left on a website.

After 18 months of disastrous visits to a highly recommended dental practise I was left with what I considered to be unsightly teeth and so disappointed and upset by the outcome. I then went to visit Andrew Fennell. I cannot say enough in this short review about the quality of his work, total professionalism, care, attention to detail but most importantly the outcome of what was achieved. He took on what other dentists had declined to do, and I am utterly thrilled at the result.

I have given permission for Andrew to use my before and after photographs on the website, and I think people can decide for themselves. The quality of his work is so very visible, and I cannot thank him enough for the way it’s made me feel. I would describe the practise as one of excellence, the standards, care, consideration and overall professionalism I think is outstanding.

Finally I think it is important to add that from the moment I picked up the phone and spoke to Debbie, who instilled huge faith immediately, right through to having the treatment with Victoria assisting and Julie finalising things for me I have to say the girls who work with Andrew are wonderful. I hope people don’t think this review is too long and anyone considering having any dental work I hope will read this and decide to put their faith in Andrew’s practise. Although I’ve read lots of reviews for this and that I’ve never actually left one, this will be my first.

I had all my fillings changed for white, a crown an inman aligner and bleaching. The results were better than I was expecting I’m very pleased with the result, and I would like to just say thank you to all at winning smiles. Not only for this but also for how accommodating they were arranging appointments due to the fact I live 140+ miles away. Thank you

Before finding Winning Smiles, I already had what many people considered to be a good dentist in Greenwich, however I wasn’t happy with the level of service they gave me and that put me off going at all. Upon developing a problem with a front crown, I decided to seek out a better option and after reading positive reviews I booked in for a consultation.

I was surprised by Andrew’s level of knowledge and his keenness to understand what I was looking for, he gave me time to ask more in-depth questions until I was satisfied that I was in the right place. I’d also like to mention that the same courteous and knowledgeable traits are shared by the whole team.

I’m a perfectionist at heart and because I am sensitive about my front teeth, I went to the extent of creating digitally altered pictures of what I wanted them to look like, a first for Andrew I think and he was more than happy to work towards my idea. He guided me on what would look natural and we agreed upon what would be done.

The results are fantastic, and because of proper procedures being used and the level of attention that I was afforded, I firmly believe that I wouldn’t have gotten a better result anywhere else.

I found the Winning Smiles website whilst looking for a dentist to replace an unsatisfactory NHS crown. The honest and straightforward approach of this site encouraged me to call and make an appointment.

Andrew welcomed me with a warm, friendly smile that made me feel at ease as I explained the reason for my visit. He completely understood why I was unhappy and said the crown could certainly be replaced with one more acceptable in looks and practicality.

We then discussed how I felt about my teeth generally and I mentioned that I had always been unhappy with my two front teeth, which were rather prominent and dominated my narrow smile. After looking at them, Andrew suggested that by having crowns on eight of my upper front teeth, I could solve both my problems and increase the width of my smile at the same time.

There was no pressure to make a decision straight away and I left to think over my choices. I decided to have the eight crowns. Although it would be a major step, and involve a lot of work, I was already confident that Andrew would provide me with the best possible result. As my treatment proceeded smoothly and painlessly I can honestly say that I looked forward to each appointment.

My transformation was completed five weeks ago and the result has exceeded all my expectations. The new crowns feel very natural so that I forget about them until I look in a mirror; then I’m really happy because I now have the smile I always wanted.

After two weeks with my fab new smile, I feel inspired to share my experience.

From my first meeting and consultation with Andrew Fennell, I felt comfortrouble and at ease, a first for me I’m afraid, previous dentists must have studied at Dewhurst I think, nuff said.

I had a series of missing, loose and broken crowns, and my smile had disappeared and distorted over time. Andrew offered different options to rebuild the smile, we worked out the most cost effective way in my case would be a bridge, great, compared with dentures I was offered everywhere else this was fantastic and I was very happy to start treatment.

Winning Smiles attitude to pain management must be commended! That for me was a very big fear and what kept me away from a dentist for too long. The painless injection system used by Andrew was the most reassuring experience possible, from then on I was happy to go through hours of work and even have a laugh during treatment at times, amazing. Other patients reading this will know what I mean when I talk about the synergy between Andrew and his nurses during treatment, it’s almost like going to a gig with the level of intuition and communication on display, and has changed my mind about dentists forever (well some anyway).

So having also seen Andrew blow a mean blues harmonica, I can understand this better!

The skill and communication on display between Andrew, and the entire team are what makes Winning Smiles brilliant. The atmosphere, the statue, the smiles on the faces of other waiting clients, just make the whole experience really enjoyable.

I came across your website today and thought I must leave you a review. Better late than never, as my cosmetic treatment with Andrew and his team, came to an end back in February 2005. Not only did I pose a challenge cosmetically, but I had a fear of dentists from my schooldays… (we wont go there!) I am very happy with the result….I now smile with confidence for the first time in 30 years, plus I am also over my dentist phobia! If I hadn’t moved over 300 miles to Cornwall you’d have still had to put up with me now! Keep up the good work…..

Sadly I had reason to visit the emergency service provided by winning smiles last Saturday following a serious fall which necessitated removing one of my front teeth. The service and personal care I received was second to none. Very professional and understanding. DON’T BE SCARED OF SEDATION……..IT’S BRILLIANT….TRUST ME!!!

I came in for 4 hours sedation with your FANTASTIC sedationist Doctor Damian. It was recommended as I needed 10 upper crowns and surgery to even up my gum lines. This involved a very lengthy treatment, which thankfully I was not aware of. Amazingly I was told to eat and drink before treatment. The drug process to put me to sleep was not in the least bit traumatic. It only involved a tiny needle, with just one drop at a time of the drug. When I came round, I did not feel unwell in the least (just not quite with it). It was a totally stress free experience, and I recommend it to anyone undergoing lengthy/complex work.
Andrew is also doing a brilliant job, sorting out my general and cosmetic dentistry…..BEFORE AND AFTER his clever Dad Michael straightened them for me with Invisalign.
The girls are all great too, and I am SO lucky to have found the perfect team at Winning Smiles!

Having this treatment has made an enormous difference to my life. I not only look 100% better I also feel better and I recommend Andrew and his girls without reservation. As a patient who started Invisalign aged 50, I have been wearing my Invisible braces for 9 months so far. My total treatment time is 1 year for the top set, and 2 years for the bottom set. The improvement to date of my dreadfully crooked teeth is just incredible. I won’t pretend it is an easy ride, BUT it is well worth doing if you are as embarrassed as I was about your teeth.
