Precision counts
At Winning Smiles we operate an in house digital CT Scanner for 3d imaging, essential when planning to place implants. The degree and angle of bone need to be seen millimetre by millimetre. Our objective, and minimise the number of implants required where possible by creating a firm foundation and to preserve the usable bone for the future. See “how many implants do I need“.
The major benefit of the precision, is that we can be confident in offering implant treatment in what might be considered difficult cases, without risk.

At your consultation we will spend about half an hour talking to you about your dental problems and what solutions are available to you. We will also look at your mouth to help us to see what the issues are with our own eyes.

I’m incredibly grateful to them.
I had advanced gum disease and missing/ failing teeth. The worse they got the harder it was to fix. I was so terrified of both the dentist and of being judged for allowing things to get so bad that I couldn’t even phone. In a brave moment, I filled in the contact section of the Winning Smiles website. Denise phoned me the following day. She listened, was sympathetic and booked me in for a consultation with Andrew. At our first meeting, I had scans and Andrew explained what treatments I was suitable for. I was given detailed costs of my options and I left to consider them without pressure. I opted for both upper and lower implants. Andrew explained my best chance of a good outcome was to have immediate fixed teeth on the bottom and a temporary denture at the top while my bone grafts/implants healed and integrated. The surgery was a long day but at no point was I in any pain or discomfort. Andrew and his dental nurse Sam checked on me constantly and reassured me throughout. I left with fixed lower teeth and a temporary upper denture. The next day I was slightly swollen but much better than I had expected which I told Andrew when he phoned to check on me. The remainder of my treatment was done over the following few months without pain or stress. Fast forward to today when I had my first check-up since my upper teeth were fitted. I can’t describe how thrilled I am with the final results. I smile without thinking about it, eat what I want and my general health has greatly improved. My new teeth look amazing but very natural which was exactly the look I wanted. I’m no longer terrified of the dentist and happily attend my checkups/hygiene appointments. My treatment was fantastic from start to finish and I can’t recommend Andrew, Sam and the team more highly. I really wish I’d found them sooner. Complicated Implant Case
My name is Sue and I am nearly 65 years old and had a terrific fear of Dentists I could cry just knowing I had to go. The teeth in my lower jaw were becoming loose and having no option went to another Dentist who said “at my age what did I expect and my jaw bone would not hold my teeth and they would all fall out and I would have to have a denture” I was devastated.
I phoned around and went to see a number of Dentists about implants and the attitude of the people left a a to be desired I was about to give up and one more phone call I was lucky enough to phone Alan at the Billericay branch and what a difference. I told him the problem and he was so positive light hearted and friendly I for the first time felt more confident.

What a good job. I had a cyst in my jaw bone which had eaten a hole through the bone and made matters more complicated as it had exposed the nerves in my face and I could not have a bone implant but all the time Alan and Andrew were still confident they could help me.
I told them I was scared out of my brains and they promised me that I would not feel any pain through the procedure which took 5 hours and 40minutes
- My lower teeth were extracted
- Titanium frame made and fitted in the mouth
- Titanium acrylic bridge fitted
- Implants placed immediately
All this work was carried out on the same day and I walked out with a full lower set of teeth. Alan and Andrew were true to their word I had no pain not only during but after the procedure.
The aftercare had been absolutely fantastic I consider I am one of the most critical people around and I cannot fault the care and attention I have received.
I cannot thank Alan and Andrew enough not once did they mention my age nor my vanity as an oap they have taken away my fear of dentists if you want a laugh at what was me a very stressful time, do not hesitate to go to them they make you feel so at ease
