Precision counts
At Winning Smiles we operate an in house digital CT Scanner for 3d imaging, essential when planning to place implants. The degree and angle of bone need to be seen millimetre by millimetre. Our objective, and minimise the number of implants required where possible by creating a firm foundation and to preserve the usable bone for the future. See “how many implants do I need“.
The major benefit of the precision, is that we can be confident in offering implant treatment in what might be considered difficult cases, without risk.

At your consultation we will spend about half an hour talking to you about your dental problems and what solutions are available to you. We will also look at your mouth to help us to see what the issues are with our own eyes.
Don’t worry. We will not be poking and prodding you, or taking moulds, or bombarding you with xrays and salesy-talk.
The best thing about the consultation is that you get to meet us face to face and have a real conversation about what you wish to achieve – and where relevant – what has stopped you from coming before now.

Rob – Rebuilding my Smile
After two weeks with my fab new smile, I feel inspired to share my experience.
From my first meeting and consultation with Andrew Fennell, I felt comfortrouble and at ease, a first for me I’m afraid, previous dentists must have studied at Dewhurst I think, nuff said.
I had a series of missing, loose and broken crowns, and my smile had disappeared and distorted over time. Andrew offered different options to rebuild the smile, we worked out the most cost effective way in my case would be a bridge, great, compared with dentures I was offered everywhere else this was fantastic and I was very happy to start treatment.
Winning Smiles attitude to pain management must be commended! That for me was a very big fear and what kept me away from a dentist for too long. The painless injection system used by Andrew was the most reassuring experience possible, from then on I was happy to go through hours of work and even have a laugh during treatment at times, amazing. Other patients reading this will know what I mean when I talk about the synergy between Andrew and his nurses during treatment, it’s almost like going to a gig with the level of intuition and communication on display, and has changed my mind about dentists forever (well some anyway).
So having also seen Andrew blow a mean blues harmonica, I can understand this better!

I would like to thank Andrew and his team for my new smile. My teeth had deteriorated over the years and I came to a point in my life where that was having an impact on my life. I was recommended Winning Smiles by my own dentist. After an initial consultation and then a more in depth inspection and scan, I was told by Andrew that he could help by doing three implants and three additional teeth as an implant bridge. The first appointment was in January this year and I got my new smile in May, at each stage Andrew explained to me exactly what would happen and how long each stage would take, I was made to feel relaxed and comfortable on every visit.
