Petrified of Dentists
A Winning Smile – after being absolutely petrified of the dentist and not visiting one for about 17 years i decided it was time to do something about my brown stained teeth, broken crowns & gum disease. After visiting several other implant specialists i eventually found Andrew and his team. As a sedation patient this can be very expensive, Andrew started a plan of works which allowed me to have a mild sedative which alleviated my stress and fear allowing works to proceed.
A year later, and after several operations, implants and hygiene works i truly have a “winning smile”. I cant thank Andrew, Toni, Lauren and the rest of the team for their time & patience.

Amazing Results
Dr Andrew Fennell at Winning Smiles was highly recommended by a friend, who also suffers from anxiety when going to the dentist. I really did need to get in to see the dentist (having not seen one in years due to a previous bad experience).
I have had some pretty extensive work both essential and cosmetic…. and the result is simply amazing!
The best bit? Although every stage and procedure was explained to me – Dr Fennell (and everyone at the surgery) did such an amazing job of easing my nerves (after my last dreadful dental experience), that I didn’t even require any anesthesia just the magic wand (numbing injections which I was almost unaware of completely).
“I bet this over anxious woman had a filling” I can almost hear you thinking – 2 teeth removed, deep route canal, a crown, 2 x implants, minor bone transplant, deep gum clean with a top and bottom brace….!! I therefore give this recommendation wholeheartedly from a reformed patient that would normally have to be knocked out just to get in the chair. Well done to Dr Andrew Fennell and all the staff that make this dentist surgery second to none!
Petrified of the dentist…not any more
I spent many years absolutely petrified of the dentist because of bad experiences I had when I was younger.
My main fear was the injection. And the embarrassment of letting my teeth go so far.
When I read about Winning Smiles pain free injection system I plucked up the courage to go for a consultation. I can honestly say it’s the best decision I made. Not only do I have a Winning Smile, I am not at all frightened of going to the dentist anymore.
Andrew and all of his team are truly amazing and I would recommend him to anyone. I actually look forward to getting back in the chair and would never go anywhere else.
Travelled Far
Travelled down from southampton based on good reviews for an implant, root canal and two crowns. Real nice people who went out of there way to help (even out of hours). Had treatment completed yesterday and more than happy with the results 5*
I love my smile
Thanks to Andrew and his team, I have amazing new teeth.
I had surgery for dental implants earlier this year and now I can honestly say I love my smile. It wasn’t an easy process but Andrew and the staff at winning smiles helped me overcome my fear with their caring and calming attitudes.
Now the end result is something I am extremely happy with, and I would definitely recommend Winning Smiles to anybody seeking out any kind of dental work!
No Regrets, Dental Implants
My only regret is not visiting Andrew 10 years ago.
My quality of life was becoming compromised by constantly having front bridges dislodging and falling out (mainly at important meetings, functions or holidays), to excuse the pun I was fed up to the back teeth.
For me the scheduling of appointments, explained cost at every stage and the sheer progress during my dental implant surgery was astounding. I’m not joking I looked forward to every visit.
Having the x-rays scans on site was great too; Andrew leads a great dedicated team who deliver a very slick 360 service during every stage of your treatment, including the best & gentlest hygienist I’ve ever been too.
In a nutshell (a dark and confined space) Andrew is without doubt a master of his trade, very kind and has a great sense of humour too.
Please DO NOT HESITATE to make the leap of faith, the best thing I ever did in 2015.
Confidence Restored
After having spent years feeling embarrassed and unconfident with my teeth, I visited winning smiles feeling quite unsure as to how much of a difference they would be able to make. I am extremely pleased to say, after several months of excellent treatment I finally have the smile I had always wished for. The team at winning smiles have given me a new found confidence, and I can’t thank or recommend them highly enough.
Their professionalism, friendliness, honesty and generosity have been of constant comfort through the process.

Painless Wisdom Tooth
I can’t thank Andrew and Toni enough for looking after me today
If it wasn’t for your caring team and PAINLESS dentistry I would never have gone through the removal of a wisdom tooth (I’m still shocked I did)
I can promise you I’m the biggest wimp, needle phobic too, I’m not even sure there was a needle involved, if there was then Andrew performed magic because I would have screamed the place down.
Honestly, I fully recommend Winning Smiles to anybody who needs a dentist who takes time to listen and understands any fears you have, and makes you feel at ease. Fantastic Team Winning Smiles

I would just like to thank Andrew, Ian and all of the staff at Winning Smiles.
I have just completed my treatment, implants, crowns, orthodontics and whitening and am over the moon with the results. I found all of the staff at Winning Smiles very friendly and extremely professional. They listened to the problems I was having with my teeth, suggested solutions and explained every stage of the procedures.

Painfree Wow
Had my first treatment at winning smiles today, with Andrew and his assistant Victoria and all I can is wow, they are amazing.
Was in the chair for quite few hours and I can honestly say it was painfree. They made me feel at ease the whole way through the treatment, Never thought I’d say I’m looking forward to my next visit to the dentist !!!!
Implant Denture Review
Andrew has removed all my upper teeth and I have had an implant denture fitted. Surgery day was completely pain free and following it, not a single pain killer required. The hardest thing was to put up with a temporary denture for 3 months. On final fitting of my implant denture I could finally chew food and I murdered a kebab on the first night!!
Also my upper teeth now look fantastic and natural.

Haven’t stopped smiling
After 5 hours pain free in the dentists chair I went home with my temporaries which were quite sensitive and I thought what have I done, maybe the old 1950s school dentists efforts could have been lived with.
Two weeks later I was fitted with my wonderful new teeth not dodgy dentures as I feared have not stopped smiling since.

Smile Wide with Pride
So I can speak clearly now…and add another resounding success story.
I’m SO glad I chose to have an implant 3 yrs ago. Treatment and cost was explained step by step and by letter so I could keep referring to at each appointment. Excellent job.
3 yrs on I needed to have another implant and some extensive restoration work – 3 crowns plus fillings, I had no hesitation to come back. Together with a little aesthetic work on a couple of front teeth (a treat to myself) to complement my tentative smile, which is now wide with pride!
All finished and fab. I would like to say a big thank you to Andrew and all the team for their endearing thoughtfulness and passionate professionalism with charm and humour.

Complicated Implant Case
My name is Sue and I am nearly 65 years old and had a terrific fear of Dentists I could cry just knowing I had to go. The teeth in my lower jaw were becoming loose and having no option went to another Dentist who said “at my age what did I expect and my jaw bone would not hold my teeth and they would all fall out and I would have to have a denture” I was devastated.
I phoned around and went to see a number of Dentists about implants and the attitude of the people left a a to be desired I was about to give up and one more phone call I was lucky enough to phone Alan at the Billericay branch and what a difference. I told him the problem and he was so positive light hearted and friendly I for the first time felt more confident.
They scan all patients at their Harold Wood branch where I met Andrew
What a good job. I had a cyst in my jaw bone which had eaten a hole through the bone and made matters more complicated as it had exposed the nerves in my face and I could not have a bone implant but all the time Alan and Andrew were still confident they could help me.
I told them I was scared out of my brains and they promised me that I would not feel any pain through the procedure which took 5 hours and 40minutes
- My lower teeth were extracted
- Titanium frame made and fitted in the mouth
- Titanium acrylic bridge fitted
- Implants placed immediately
All this work was carried out on the same day and I walked out with a full lower set of teeth. Alan and Andrew were true to their word I had no pain not only during but after the procedure.
The aftercare had been absolutely fantastic I consider I am one of the most critical people around and I cannot fault the care and attention I have received.
I cannot thank Alan and Andrew enough not once did they mention my age nor my vanity as an oap they have taken away my fear of dentists if you want a laugh at what was me a very stressful time, do not hesitate to go to them they make you feel so at ease

Excellent quality of service and treatment even for trickier cases.
After searching for a new dentist I was delighted to find Winning Smiles, impressed by the service and pleased with the affordable and comprehensive dental plan.
The team are all very friendly, happy to help arrange appointments around shift patterns and answer questions and queries. The hygienists and dentists offer an excellent level of treatment using the latest technology and heeding concerns with regard to how treatment is delivered, as well as patiently offering guidance and answering queries.
In a complex case concerning implants it was brilliant to have a team who worked out a schedule of treatment, kept me informed of progress and were able to accommodate a busy, working life.
